We supply the following materials of this group:

This group of metals is characterised by a high number of applications of these metals by the chemical industry. It is also applied in the electronic industry, for nuclear power technology, in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, as well as in other areas.

Individual chemical metals such as hafnium, tantalum or zirconium have high melting points, good ductility, and high corrosion resistance. However, for many members of this non-scientifically defined group this does not apply.

For instance, arsenic can be used in high speed circuits for mobile communication or in the form of gallium arsenide in LEDs. Hafnium for example is an ingredient in superalloys or is applied for control elements in nuclear reactors. Tantalum can be employed in the production of heaters, pumps, heat exchangers in the chemical industry, and also for capacitors for communication and data processing. As a last example, bismuth can be applied to control instruments and fire alarm systems. In addition, it is a non-toxic substitute for lead.
